I've seen pictures of lighthouses, but till I moved to Washington State did I have the opportunity to see and photograph them. What a great piece of history I am still learning about! The oldest lighthouse in the world and is still used today ( tho modernized ) is over 1900 years old, built by the Romans on the northwest corner of Spain. Maybe some day I'll shoot it in person.
